The proposal of this paper is to revise the current literature studying the consequences of anger among the population that suffer from PTSD. Given that anger is often associated with high levels of tension and arousal, it is important to find coping strategies for those veterans who have unmanageable anger episodes. This study will explore the effects between anger and chronic PTSD among combat veterans. Veterans are experiencing very intense anger, and as a result, may find it very difficult to manage PTSD. As known anger is one of the noticeable symptoms of PTSD it could interfere with the Veterans' activities of daily living. Although anger may interfere with treatment and intervention, its treatment could reduce episodes and result to be beneficial. Even though anger could be one of the most noticeable symptoms in those who suffer from PTSD, unmanageable anger could inhibit the ability for the Veteran to be able to obtain the benefits of a successful group or individual PTSD therapy session.
