To better service families, teachers must identify the needs of their families as they plan and implement home-school connections. This quantitative study examined the parent perceptions of current home-school connections at a dual-language charter school in a rural community. Data was collected using a four-point Likert format survey from 58 participants. Quantitative findings indicate there were insignificant differences in the perceptions of parents regarding: language preference, parental role, and years of experience. Further investigation revealed differences in perceptions between English and Spanish families regarding satisfaction of home-visits, and differences between mothers and fathers in overall satisfaction and dissatisfaction.
