The purpose of this dissertation is to synchronically examine the morphological aspects of the youth vernacular of recently arrived Germans from Russia currently residing in Bayreuth, Germany on the basis of representative phonetic samples. Emphasis will focus on descriptive word-formational morphology of this sociolect as well as on the influences of anglicisms, pop culture and Franconian dialectal and colloquial borrowings.
