Based upon my personal Chinese cultural background, and now several years studying and living in the United States, my artwork is the result of these influences. This thesis attempts to explain the formation of my art style as it is informed by both a conflict of cultures and a synthesis of Eastern and Western art theories and stylistic approaches.
