Information is arguable the most important asset of an organization and protecting this asset should be a priority. The largest risk to information is the human factor, the actions and behaviors of the users and employees of an organization. Changing the actions of the employees can have the most drastic effect on the overall level of security compliance, and is where the most resources should be directed. Security compliance is cyclical and must be constantly re-evaluated as changes within an organization or within the individual beliefs can affect the overall culture of an organization.
