The overarching mission of libraries in higher education is to support users in their academic endeavors. Understanding the needs and perceptions each of these stakeholder groups has of the library will help inform decisions regarding service and resource offerings, funding priorities, and future building and space design. This study examined the perceptions of stakeholders in regards to library resources and services at Presentation College.

Researcher-developed survey instruments were used to collect data from 236 students and 26 faculty members from all campuses of Presentation College. Demographic information and four-point Likert-type scales were used to measure respondents' perceptions of library resources and services. Open-ended questions solicited responses on anticipated future needs of students and faculty.

The current research study found that student and faculty perceptions of library resources and services are positive. However, there is room for improvement, particularly in relation to spaces and services provided to distance campuses.

Students at all campuses recognize and value the library as important to their academic success. Both students and faculty give great importance to journal databases and other research resources for their future academic needs. Advice from both groups included continuing to add more resources.
