This study explores the question of whether or not these dams brought capital to the area and created hydropower, as well as their effects on Mechanization, Industrialization and food security. This research analyzes the extent to which the dams caused an increase or decrease in the population of irrigation and reservoir areas, the reservoirs' effects on the available water resources. The project has caused environmental degradation for the associated reservoir and irrigation areas. It has led to dissatisfaction among the residents of the reservoir area but has garnered approval from the residents in the irrigated area. There are limited signs of potential future health problems in the irrigation area.
