Thesis (Ph.D.)--The Pennsylvania State University, 2003.
Through the use of doubly multivariate analysis, the current study examined the effects of an Internet based job search intervention on measures of career search self-efficacy, vocational identity, problem-solving, and job search activities of 30 individuals with disabilities. In addition to assessing changes in scores on the study's measures, the doubly multivariate analysis also assessed the differences in scores obtained by male and female participants. Using the repeated measures analysis this study also examined the effects of career search self-efficacy on job search activities. Neither analysis produced significant results, indicating that there were no significant differences between pre- and post-test scores on the measurements, no significant differences between the scores of male participants and female participants, and no significant differences between career search self-efficacy and job search activities.Subjects--Topical Terms:
