Thesis (M.A.)--Roosevelt University, 2003.
Mac Kinnon (1994) noted that personality is defined in two ways. On the one hand, personality refers to “factors” inside people that explain their behaviors. On the other hand, personality refers to a person's distinctive interpersonal characteristics, especially as described by those who have seen that person in a variety of situations (Hogan, R., Hogan, J., & Roberts, B., 1996). Using the Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire-Fifth Edition, this study provides an explanatory examination of the personality characteristics of twenty-five parole agents from the Illinois Department of Corrections and to identify characteristics necessary for potential applicants. Group means and other statistics are reported and further research areas discussed.Subjects--Topical Terms:
