This study investigated the differences in the amount of information presented in academic librarian print and listserv job ads. Using content analysis, the information presented in the ads was compared using t-tests and chi-square inferential statistics. The sample of 443 print ads was selected from three professional librarian publications. The sample of 181 listserv ads was selected from eight library related listservs. The ads were published between February and July, 2004.
