This study was designed to explore and describe the surrounding themes in the quality of life of patients with laryngeal cancer treatments. Parse's human becoming theory provided a conceptual framework within which the patients with laryngeal cancer treatment were studied. The usage of quality of life questionnaires to a sample of 5 individuals provided results that described personal experiences with the cancer diagnosis, described the significance of quality of life, described the patterns of relating connected to quality of life, and described concerns, plans, hopes, and dreams related to quality of life.
