《Talihina Sky:The Story of Kings Of Leon》這部完整紀錄下Kings of Leon的紀錄片,敘述來自美國奧克拉荷馬州Talihina這個鄉間小鎮的四個男孩Nathan、Caleb、Jared、Matthew Followill三兄弟和堂弟,所組成里昂王族Kings of Leon的成長故事。里昂王族在1999年成團,2003年的首張專輯《Youth and Young Manhood》就獲得NME雜誌力讚為「近十年來最佳首張專輯之一」。2008年他們獲得兩大英國音樂獎,之前發行的三張專輯都拿下英國專輯排行榜的Top 5,同年發行《Only By The Night》更為在美國創下白金專輯銷售紀錄和澳洲專輯銷售冠軍的事業高峰,2010年Kings of Leon推出拿下全英專輯榜冠軍、美國告示牌流行榜Top2、搖滾榜和另類專輯榜冠軍的第五張專輯《Come Around Sundown》,其中暢銷單曲〈Radioactive〉更一舉獲得2011年葛萊美音樂獎「最佳搖滾歌曲」提名,滾石雜誌更將此張專輯選為「2010年最佳專輯榜」第18名。在這張紀錄影片中,歌迷可以一窺他們的成長背景和在音樂路上的一路成長;Nathan、Caleb、Jared三兄弟從小在篤信靈恩派的基督教家庭長大,父親雖是靈恩會牧師卻有酗酒問題,母親則是非常虔誠的教徒,無法接受丈夫在台上台下的雙面人生,最後導致離異。父母的離異,也讓Followill兄弟開始質疑是否要終生遵從教會嚴格的戒律生活,對一切誘惑說不?從小在一貧如洗的家庭成長、跟著父親四處為家,經歷聖靈充滿的狂喜;而後四個正值叛逆期的青年組了樂團,找到「世俗」的宣洩和表達出口,在搖滾樂中瘋狂、亢奮,在滿滿的巡迴演出行程裡以旅館為家。紀錄片詳實的揭露他們在成名後,依然無法切斷自己的根,他們還是父母親的兒子、也依舊是從小在教會裡長大的小孩。影片從Followill大家庭在Talihina林間的年度聚會開場,全片穿插過去珍貴家庭影片,並逐漸開展出Kings of Leon的成長故事和他們的搖滾夢想。MTV台專業影視評論佳 Kurt Loder 在看完後更盛讚：「這是一部偉大的搖滾紀錄片之一,絕非只是一般的陳腔濫調。」
