The purpose of this study was to attempt to determine the views of early primary literacy teachers with regard to the use of technology during early literacy instruction. The participants in this study were 6 early primary literacy teachers within the same district but dispersed among three different elementary schools. Participants in this study were interviewed concerning their perceptions on technology integration into the primary literacy classroom. The results of this case study revealed that the majority of these teachers were currently using and interested in using technology to supplement their early literacy instruction. Conclusions of this case study recognized that early literacy teachers were interested in utilizing technology for their early literacy instruction but wanted ample opportunities for professional development before technology was to be used with students.
