Chapter 2 is the review study to discuss about how green building can be leveraged at the urban level to achieve urban sustainability with the integrated and complimentary social, political and technical adaptation processes. Chapter 3 presents the paper which investigates how the residential developers behave in green building adoption and if green building cost more than conventional buildings in the Singapore private housing market. Chapter 4 presents the paper that explores whether how green buildings contribute to residents' well-being. Chapter 5 provides further discussion.
