明萬曆以降，文人結社在大江南北極為盛行。與前代相比，晚明文人結社雅集活動展現出很多新特徵，重要變化之一便是與戲曲的融合，戲曲成為社集聲伎活動中的重要內容。學界以往大多基於演劇研究，強調社集演劇活動在演出史上的意義。本文則結合戲曲史與文化史的綜合視野，圍繞晚明文人結社與戲曲的互動，關注戲曲創作、搬演、批評、傳播、出版等不同環節，思考戲曲與文人社群的關係，並由此重新審視晚明戲曲發展史。本文採取案例式研究，選擇不同時期的重要人物、事件與文本，前半部分探討文人結社對於戲曲創作、戲曲批評及戲曲傳播的干預、推動或影響，後半部分以戲曲文本為中心，研析詩社內部的戲曲生產，以及戲曲作為文藝載體與傳播工具，如何藉助文體特性，融入、再現與反思結社文化。第一章探討劇作家屠隆的三部傳奇如何受結社活動啟發，或以劇作主旨與人物形象呼應社盟活動。第二章分析曲評家潘之恒戲曲批評的生成語境，以及社集演劇活動如何展現特定的批評意向。第三章則圍繞閩籍文人曹學佺在南京與閩地所主持的文人社集，思考戲曲如何參與建構文人風雅，以及崑曲如何在地域互動中得到傳播。第四章基於對傳奇《三社記》的文本細讀，闡述劇作對晚明結社文化的敏銳捕捉與自覺書寫，以及作者如何在與歷史的對話與參照中，定位晚明結社文化。第五章聚焦於松江雅社，梳理詩社文人如何共同完成《天馬媒》的構思、創作、搬演、批評與出版，反思結社對於戲曲商業化的推動。第六章則剖析吳炳傳奇《綠牡丹》與復社的關係，指出《綠牡丹》在黨社紛爭之外，充分發揮戲曲的文體優勢，諷刺並反思了晚明結社與科舉文化，參與社會弊病的批判。總之，本文以「結社與戲曲」為切入點，基於結社風氣對晚明社會的滲透，探討了戲曲如何參與、構成、書寫及反思結社文化。

520 $a Literati's associations became popular throughout the whole country since the Wanli reign in late sixteenth-century China. Compared with previous generations, the literati's associations and gathering activities showed some new features during the late Ming dynasty. One of the crucial changes was the role of drama, which became an important part of literati's gathering activities. Based on the theater and performance study, previous research mainly emphasized the significance of drama performance in gatherings in the performing history. This dissertation aims to concern different aspects of drama activities including its creation, performance, criticism, dissemination, and publishing by combining the integrated perspectives of dramatic and cultural history in order to shed light on the relationships between drama and the literati community and to re-examine the development of drama in the late Ming. This dissertation adopts the case study approach, focusing on representative figures, events and texts from different periods during the late Ming. The first half with three chapters discusses the influence of literati's associations on the creation, criticism and dissemination of drama. The second half with three chapters is centered on dramatic literature, studying the productive processes of drama in literati's association, as well as how drama as a literary vehicle and communication tool, represented and reflected on the culture of literati's association. Chapter One discusses how the three poetic dramas of the playwright Tu Long were inspired by association activities. Chapter Two analyzes the socio-historical context of Pan Zhiheng's dramatic criticism, illustrating how performing activities during literati's association gatherings generated his critiques and embodied specific critical intentions. The next chapter focuses on the literati's gatherings hosted by Cao Xuequan in Nanjing and Fujian to reinvestigate how drama participated in the construction of refined culture, and how Kunqu opera was spread through regional interaction. Based on a close reading of the rarely discussed drama Three Associations, the fourth chapter expounds its keen capture and conscious writing of the late Ming culture of literati's associations. Chapter Five concentrates on Songjiang Yashe, sorting out how some late Ming literati jointly completed the conception, creation, performance, criticism and publication of a popular drama, Tianma mei, to reflect on how literati associations also promoted the commercialization of drama. The last chapter reexamines the relationship between Wu Bing's Green Peony and the famous Fushe. It points out that this play satirizes the culture of literati's associations as well as imperial examinations by taking full advantage of the stylistic features of drama. In all, this dissertation takes literati's association as important factor in the development of drama during the late Ming, exploring how drama constituted, represented, and reflected on the association culture prominent in late Ming society.
